Tika's Accomplishments in Time Related Studies

Although TRISMS "History Makers" is really a curriculum for middleschool and highschool students,
we are finding ways to adapt it to fit Tika's educational needs as well as her older sister's.
As we have only just started using "History Makers", we cannot know whether or not this approach will continue to be succesful, but so far we are quite satisfied with it.

Tika studied the invention of the wheel, using a free Sample worksheet from EdHelper.com.
She studied Hieroglyphs, using a free Sample worksheet from EdHelper.com, and had her name written in hieroglyphs at the website of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology
Tika studied the Military of Ancient Egypt, using a free Sample worksheet from EdHelper.com.
She made a beautiful colouring page of King Menkaure and His Queen on the computer.
Tika marked the Red See and the River Nile on a blank map of Egypt.
We read "The Prince of Egypt", by Yane Yolen (in Dutch).

Tika looked Greece up on a map of Europe, and we printed a map of Ancient Greece.
Tika did a worksheet on Hercules from EdHelper.com
We watched "Jason and the Argonauts" on DVD.
Tika made a nice colouring page of the Greek goddess Hestia on the computer.
